ALASKALASKA's debut album The Dots comes out tomorrow and we couldn't be more excited. The new video for 'Tough Love' is a last-minute taste of things to come. Capturing an increasing sense of ambivalence with the powerful opening line, 'Who gives a shit about my opinion?', vocalist Lucinda Duarte-Holman explains, "‘Tough Love’ is a protest and a paradox. It is an invite to each individual listener to interpret however they like.” Arriving with some oddly-hypnotic, and slightly unsettling, animated visuals courtesy of Callum Scott-Dyson, the video's obscure sci-fi references are a perfect accompaniment to 'Tough Love's dystopian undertones. -Holly Mullineaux
